Castlewigg Lodge is set in its own grounds 2 miles north of Whithorn, in a very quite rural location centrally located in the Machars area of Wigtownshire.
Facing south east we look out onto Cottage hill and woodland, Looking to the  east we have wonderfull views over to Wigtown bay and the Galloway hills.

We are just off the A746, Between Sorbie and Whithorn.

Being centrally located in the Machars are of Wigtownshire we are ideally located for all the visitor attractions & only a few miles from the coast east or west. We are in an ideal location for Exploring, Cycling, Walking, Golfing, Sea Fishing, Coarse Fishing, Sailing, or for anyone who just wants to have a quite break in a beautifull & peacefull location.

Formerly known as Castlewigg Hotel and still marked as such on maps, We are Open All Year for Bed & Breakfast.

We have only three bedrooms available to let. All three are en-suite and are finished to a high standard, with Tea and Coffee making facilities, LCD TV etc. With a maximum of only Six Guests at any one time
You can be assured of our personal attention at any time.

A Full Scottish Breakfast cooked to your preference & from local fresh produce is served at a time to suit you between   7.30 - 9.00am.

Tea & coffee is always available in your room.

You can also relax in our spacious Guest's lounge at any time. (May-Sept)
